"Sesame is a great value and tasty Korean place in Santa Cruz that's in an easily overlooked place! Very nice service and kind staff here with food that tastes very home-made for an affordable price.

Galbi tang is a little on the light side, which they warn you about, but has fantastic meats. The $7.99 Gimbop is great value though!

Would definitely return if I'm in Santa Cruz, wonderful vibes"

how i haven't heard much about this restaurant because it is literally a 1000/10. The server/host was funny and kind to us.

The FOOD was DELICIOUS and high quality!!!! ( *w*)b

The imported beers were fun to try!

the only thing i'm missing is gloves to eat my meal with because i could not grab the food to shove into my face fast enough ^o.o^"

"Always lovely to try out mom and pop businesses. I went there on Saturday, it was raining and the place was not very crowded. Staff seem to have some kind of language barrier but I could tell that they were putting on 100% effort. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Food came out pretty quickly. An elderly gentleman, who I believe is the owner, brought our food with smile. He was polite and warm. Food was good. I must say, this may not be the most upscale place in town, but decent enough place to try. Place was surprisingly sizable, although it doesn't look big from outside. Just be mindful of the parking though. Don't pull into their parking lot as they have a few spots and may be full already. Look for the street parking around the corner."
